I Met Ruthless American Enterprises In Chase Bank.

I keep asking myself questions, because now I’m confused.

Must companies ruthlessly make money?

Is the bank’s primary goal just profit?

Wouldn’t it be more profitable if banks focused on helping their customers?

Why can’t we help each other in times of crisis?

Why is it difficult for enterprises to understand that the people you help today will support you tomorrow, and they are spending billions of dollars to find customer loyalty?

Please read my story. Your suggestion will be highly praised. Because I’m confused now.

I immigrated to Texas with my family five years ago. It is necessary to buy cars instead of luxuries in Texas. Because I can hardly walk without a car. Three years ago, with the help of Chase Auto Financing, the first Toyota Heitz car was purchased for 42000 dollars in 2018. I paid a down payment of $10000 from my savings, and Chase funded the rest.

I paid the fare on time without any delay. Until covid-19 outbreak, i lost my income.

Covid-19 previously exported goods made in the United States to the motherland, but the business collapsed due to the travel ban.

During covid-19, I contacted chase auto for financing and explained my situation. They gave me some deferred payments. I thank them for this.

At present, covid-19 is considered to be over, but I’m still trying to recover. So I have been making my forklift. Except that Chess just took back my car, it is said that I missed part of the payment during covid-19. I think this is a grace period.

Heartbreakingly, he paid 18000 of the 32000 dollars that Chase lent me. My balance is $14000.

The “ruthless” part is that Chess requires to pay $14000 in advance in full. Otherwise they will sell my car to get the balance. Remember, I have paid 28000 dollars for this car.

I have begged them to borrow money for several weeks and renew their account, but they obviously refused because they knew that the value of this car exceeded the rest of the loan.

To put it simply, it is difficult for me to pay the house price, and I will soon be homeless. Because Chess is my only source of income. If not, they will ask for 14000 dollars in advance to sell the car. Because they knew that the value of the car exceeded the balance.

My question is,

How can humans be so ruthless?

If Chess treats customers like this, how can he expect me or anyone to be loyal to him?

Must companies be ruthless in order to make profits?

I believe that in the future, companies that realize that “we are people, not the object of profit extraction” will not only gain our loyalty, but also buy Chase Bank with the profits of loyal customers.

Please, I need advice. What should I do now? I’m confused… I don’t know what to do next.
